My last post was a tutorial on how to make organic cream cheese from plain yogurt. Plain cream cheese is great but I get bored easily so here’s one variation I’ve been thinking about making for awhile that turned out fantastic. I love london fog lattes. Earl Grey tea, steamed milk(almond milk for the lactards like me) and vanilla is such a great combo. I suggest trying this, or come up with your own variations and let me know how it goes!


Start with your homemade cream cheese. I used 1 cup of cream cheese for this recipe.

To make this london fog cream cheese I made an earl grey tea reduction, which is quite easy. I steeped 3 earl grey tea bags in a cup of water and added 1/2 cup or organic cane sugar. I brought it to a boil, removed the tea bags, turned the heat to medium and let it reduce slowly.


You should get about 2-3 tablespoons of syrup once it has reduced. If you let it go too long and its too thick just add a bit of water and warm it on low heat. Add a tablespoon of the reduction to the cream cheese. You can add more or less, it depends on how sweet you’d like the cream cheese to end up.


Add fresh vanilla to the cream cheese. I scraped out 1 full vanilla bean. You can also add a few drops of vanilla extract.


You’re left with amazing london fog cream cheese. Enjoy!
